Urgent care illnesses are not life-threatening and do not require surgery or a hospital stay. However, they do require prompt action.

Bring your pet in if you notice any of the below examples:

  • Minor wounds and lacerations

  • Diarrhea

  • Broken toenails

  • Urinary tract infections in FEMALE pets (straining to urinate in male pets is a potential emergency!)

  • Anal gland issues

  • Minor allergic reactions (hives)

  • Vomiting and/or diarrhea

  • Eye, ear, & skin issues (scratching, rashes, etc.)

  • Coughing without respiratory distress

  • Lameness, limping, difficulty walking

  • Porcupine quills
